Overview-
I chose to do research about the abroad travels done by American citizens and if travel rates where higher due to where you live. I used google trends to help indicate which states had the higher amount of travelers. When I typed traveling abroad in google trends, I found that more people in a state searched it on the east coast.
Summary-
In google trends, I searched plane tickets to see what states were most interested in traveling somewhere. To my surprise, Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota had the highest rates. Next I searched traveling abroad and discovered that states on the west coast had a lower rate than states on the east coast. For example, New York was ranked 100 for searches on the internet that had to do with traveking abroad. Lastly, I searched airports near me. In doing this I was hoping to see which state would have the most accesible airports, but this wasn't very credible because I then found a chart that shows the biggest airports in the United States with international flights and they did not correspond. Google trends said that most people searched airports near me in West Virgina, this didn't match the graph which said that New York had the airport with the most international flights.
